I like to draw. It's a secret hobby of mine, my family don't really know about it; besides, my sister Andrea has a far superior talent. But still, my second favourite aspect of designing a project is sketching the original to take along to Andrea later. I think it's because I used to like watching her draw, and then I wanted to create it myself. We could collaborate on the best things ever created in the world, or at least, that was my plan. My favourite part of the process itself -I suppose I should really cover that too-is organising the logistics of how to fund and build, along with patenting it, but I suppose that's because I'm my father's daughter. I've been doing it since I was eleven, propped up on books in an armchair calling his associates and organising how a charity gala would work and what we would be doing for kids there (there was always a candyfloss machine, I love candyfloss). But I'll always enjoy the drawing part almost, if not just as much, if only because I can take it to Andie and she'll be able to draw it better and I can sit in her room for a while. It's sort of nice.
